Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct care to residents, including bathing, dressing and feeding
• Assist nursing staff with vital signs, mobility support and safe transfers
• Document resident observations accurately and report changes in condition
• Follow care plans and infection control procedures to keep residents safe
• Support restful nights by assisting with nighttime routines and comfort measures
• Collaborate respectfully with the care team to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of New Mexico
• Active basic life support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred
• Experience working night shifts or in long-term care settings is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to lift and transfer residents safely
• Clear background check and required health screenings

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of resident care standards and basic clinical procedures
• Strong observation and communication skills to report resident changes
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Time management and prioritization during busy night shifts
• Respectful, patient-centered approach to care
