Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered bedside care as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately during your shift
- Monitor patients, report changes, and escalate concerns to the care team promptly
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver cohesive care plans
- Document care in the medical record thoroughly and professionally
- Support residents’ daily living needs while promoting dignity and comfort
Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential — active and in good standing
- Comfortable working 12-hour day shifts and the specified rotating schedule (3 on / 2 off / 2 on / 3 off)
- Local to the area or able to commute — this is a local-only assignment
- Reliable, compassionate, and team-oriented with strong communication skills
Education
- Completion of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical assessment and hands-on patient care
- Medication administration and documentation
- Basic understanding of long-term care and skilled nursing workflows
- Good charting habits and ability to work with electronic health records
- Excellent interpersonal skills for resident and team interactions
