Location: Brooklyn Park, MD

Shift Type: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, days not specified (Evening shift)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing and toileting
Assist with meal service and document intake as required
Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to nursing staff
Support mobility and safe transfers, following care plans and safety protocols
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and observations
Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through respectful communication
Contribute to a clean, safe and comfortable living environment for all residents

Qualifications

GNA certification (required)
Previous experience in long-term care or geriatric settings preferred
Current CPR/BLS certification encouraged or obtainable upon hire
Ability to pass background and health screenings as required by facility
Strong interpersonal skills and a patient, respectful approach to care

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of geriatric care principles and common age-related conditions
Basic clinical observation and documentation skills
Comfortable assisting with activities of daily living
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Attention to infection control and safety procedures
