Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care to residents and support their dignity
Assist residents with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Monitor and record vital signs and report meaningful changes to nursing staff
Help with safe transfers and mobility assistance to promote independence
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
Document care accurately and communicate clearly with the care team and families
Support mealtime needs including feeding assistance and meal prep when required
Contribute to a positive, person-centered culture that values each resident

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (Class: CNA)
Completion of an approved CNA training program
Ability to follow care plans and communicate changes to the nursing team
Comfort with routine resident care tasks and basic documentation
Clear background check and the ability to meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Basic nursing care and safe patient handling
Vital signs measurement and recognition of common changes
Infection control and safe hygiene practices
Clear, compassionate communication with residents and team members
Time management and teamwork in a fast-paced care environment
Documentation and attention to detail
