Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans that restore mobility and function
• Deliver hands-on therapy, therapeutic exercise, and patient education with compassion and clinical precision
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate high-quality patient care
• Document patient progress and discharge plans clearly and timely in the medical record
• Participate in the required orientation and in-service training to ensure safe, effective care
• Educate patients and families on home programs, safety, and strategies to maintain gains
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

• Valid California Physical Therapist license (mandatory)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Availability for a Monday orientation start and three consecutive days of in-service training
• Reliable transportation and ability to work on-site in Blythe, CA
• Strong communication and documentation skills; patient-centered approach

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Bachelor's/Master's degree in Physical Therapy

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in evaluation, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise and gait training
• Comfortable with outpatient/medical setting workflows and electronic documentation
• Ability to prioritize caseloads and manage time effectively
• Good patient education skills and ability to motivate patients toward goals
• Familiarity with safety, infection control, and compliance standards
