Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans that restore mobility and function
- Deliver hands-on therapy, therapeutic exercise, and patient education with compassion and clinical precision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate high-quality patient care
- Document patient progress and discharge plans clearly and timely in the medical record
- Participate in the required orientation and in-service training to ensure safe, effective care
- Educate patients and families on home programs, safety, and strategies to maintain gains
- Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
Qualifications
- Valid California Physical Therapist license (mandatory)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Availability for a Monday orientation start and three consecutive days of in-service training
- Reliable transportation and ability to work on-site in Blythe, CA
- Strong communication and documentation skills; patient-centered approach
Education
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Bachelor's/Master's degree in Physical Therapy
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in evaluation, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise and gait training
- Comfortable with outpatient/medical setting workflows and electronic documentation
- Ability to prioritize caseloads and manage time effectively
- Good patient education skills and ability to motivate patients toward goals
- Familiarity with safety, infection control, and compliance standards
