Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, hands-on physical therapy care to adult and/or geriatric outpatients
• Assess patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and set measurable goals
• Use therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and functional training to restore mobility and independence
• Document patient progress accurately and timely in the electronic health record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate optimal patient care
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and self-management strategies
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and patient safety

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in West Virginia, or ability to obtain prior to start
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; related degrees with appropriate licensure considered
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
• Strong clinical assessment and manual therapy skills
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Reliable transportation for split-site coverage between Parkersburg and Willows

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; or relevant degree with state licensure

Knowledge & Skills

• Therapeutic exercise prescription and progression
• Manual therapy and gait training techniques
• Functional mobility and balance intervention
• Proficiency with documentation and electronic health records
• Patient education, discharge planning, and outcome measurement
• Time management and caseload prioritization
