Travel Certified Nursing Assistant

Location: Elkins, West Virginia

Start Date: 06-29-2026

End Date: 09-19-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating schedule (2 days one week, 4 days the next)

Hours per Week: 24

Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Assist with daily living activities to ensure comfort and dignity
Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
Maintain a clean, safe environment for residents
Document care accurately using Point-Click-Care system
Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification in West Virginia (or compact state)
At least 1 year of experience as a CNA in a long-term care setting
Proficiency with Point-Click-Care electronic health records
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Compassionate, reliable, and ready to hit the ground running

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient care and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Adaptability to different facility policies and cultures
