Roles & Responsibilities

Assess and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders to empower patients in communication and safe swallowing
Complete thorough patient documentation including evaluations, plans of care, progress reports, and discharges
Contact insurance companies to advocate for patient benefits
Educate staff with in-service presentations and research-based guidance
Collaborate with healthcare providers for exceptional patient-centered treatment
Prepare treatment rooms and provide reminder calls to ensure seamless care

Qualifications

Masters degree in speech pathology from an accredited program
Current Wisconsin Speech-Language Pathologist license
Valid drivers license
BLS certification
1+ years of related work experience preferred, hospital setting a plus

Education

Masters degree in speech pathology from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Intermediate computer proficiency
Strong assessment and planning skills
Quantitative and analytical competency
Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving abilities
Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
Self-starter mindset
