Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide speech-language pathology services to patients in their homes across a multi-county territory.
Evaluate and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders, including those recovering from CVA/Aphasia.
Develop and implement individualized care plans to improve patient outcomes.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and supervise rehabilitation aides as needed.
Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

Active Kentucky Speech-Language Pathology license in hand (no pending applications).
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required.
Current BLS certification.
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience, preferably in home health.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to travel across a large territory (up to 2.5 hours corner to corner).

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of speech-language pathology evaluation and treatment techniques for adult population.
Experience with CVA, aphasia, and swallowing disorders.
Familiarity with home health regulations and documentation standards.
Proficient in using tablet and phone for documentation (provided).
Ability to work independently and manage a caseload of approximately 6 patients per day.
