Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating shifts, every 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide critical care to Level 4 NICU patients, including premature infants and those with cardiac defects, genetic disorders, and surgical needs
Perform and maintain sterile techniques for central line dressing changes and Foley catheter insertions
Monitor telemetry and collaborate with neonatologists, midlevels, and RT 24/7
Manage ventilators and administer medications in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Support stepdown and level 2 patients as needed, floating to mother-baby and labor care

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of Level 4 NICU experience required (2 years minimum for screening)
Active BLS and NRP certifications
Cardiac STABLE plus preferred
Previous travel experience preferred
Comfort with Cerner EMR and Philips telemetry

Knowledge & Skills

Expert sterile technique and central line management
Ability to care for a wide range of neonatal diagnoses including ECMO and cooling
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to float and adapt to different units
