Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (no weekends, no holidays, no call)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures using state-of-the-art GE Discovery 630 NM and GE PET 8 scanners
Ensure patient safety and comfort during exams while maintaining high-quality images
Operate and troubleshoot equipment, including gamma cameras and PET systems
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to provide accurate diagnostic results
Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to radiation safety protocols

Qualifications

Current BLS certification required
ARRT (NM) or CNMT certification required
Valid driver's license and ability to meet the 50-mile radius rule
Experience with Epic and McKesson EMR/PACS systems preferred
Flexibility, positivity, and willingness to learn and work with a diverse team

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in nuclear medicine imaging and PET/CT procedures
Knowledge of radiation safety and proper handling of radiopharmaceuticals
Experience with GE Discovery 630 and GE PET 8 equipment
Strong communication and patient interaction skills
Ability to float to other areas if additional licenses held (e.g., XR/CT)
