Location: Bakersfield, California

Start Date: 06-18-2026

End Date: 09-17-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts with rotating call after 4:30 PM; rotating weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform cardiac imaging, SPECT, bone scans, bleed studies, and gastric emptying studies
Operate GE equipment and utilize Radnet and Merge Unity systems
Ensure high-quality diagnostic images while prioritizing patient comfort and safety
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to support accurate diagnoses
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in a single-scanner department

Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine technology
Current BLS certification and California NMTL license
Proficiency in cardiac imaging, SPECT, and general nuclear medicine procedures

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in nuclear medicine technology and cardiac imaging
Proficient with SPECT, bone scans, bleed studies, and gastric emptying
Experience with Radnet, Merge Unity, and GE equipment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to float to Mercy Downtown as needed (approx 6.5 miles away)
