Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to oncology and trauma patients in a PCU/MedSurg setting
Monitor and titrate drips such as insulin and cardizem
Administer chemotherapy under physician orders
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for patient-centered care
Float to med/surg and PCU units as needed

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Minimum 1 year of PCU and/or oncology experience
BLS and ACLS certification required
ONS/ONCC certification preferred
Chemotherapy certification preferred but not required
Must pass an open book exam on skills during orientation with a 90%

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in EPIC EMR
Experience with Alaris IV pumps
Knowledge of chemotherapy administration and handling
Ability to titrate drips
Strong communication and teamwork skills
