Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide occupational therapy evaluations and treatments for patients with orthopedic conditions, focusing on upper extremity injuries
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for shoulder repairs, wrist and elbow tendonitis, and fractures
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes in acute care, inpatient rehab, and outpatient settings
Document patient progress and outcomes using ReDoc for outpatient and Meditech for acute care
Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises, home programs, and injury prevention strategies

Qualifications

Active Oregon Occupational Therapist license is required
BLS certification (American Heart Association) is required
At least 1-2 years of outpatient orthopedic experience, specifically with upper extremity therapy, is strongly preferred
Experience with ReDoc documentation and Meditech is a plus
Lymphedema training is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Orthopedic rehabilitation and upper extremity therapy
Therapeutic exercise prescription and modalities
Patient education and family training
EHR documentation (ReDoc, Meditech)
Multidisciplinary collaboration
Anatomy and pathology of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand
