Location: Garrison, ND

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, every other weekend and major holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead as the charge nurse, coordinating resident care and supervising staff
Administer medications accurately and safely to residents
Provide skilled wound care and treatments as needed
Monitor residents with chronic conditions like heart disease, diabetes, and dementia
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care plans
Maintain a compassionate and supportive environment for residents and families

Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Dakota
Minimum 1 year of long-term care experience
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Ability to work 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, and holidays
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in long-term care regulations and best practices
Proficient in medication administration and wound care
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Compassionate patient-centered care approach
Familiarity with electronic medical records (Matrix)
