Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM with rotating weekday call 7:00 PM - 6:00 AM and every other weekend call Friday 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Saturday 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM, Sunday 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality general ultrasound examinations including abdomen and OB/GYN studies
Conduct specialized breast imaging and biopsy procedures with precision
Provide compassionate NICU imaging for our tiniest patients
Assist with IR procedures and OR cases ensuring optimal imaging support
Transport patients when volumes are low to support the broader radiology team
Document thoroughly and communicate effectively with radiologists and providers

Qualifications

Current ARDMS certification required
BLS certification needed
Experience in abdomen and/or OB/GYN ultrasound
Familiarity with breast imaging and NICU scanning preferred
Valid driver's license required at time of application
Strong communication and documentation skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS systems
Comfortable operating Siemens Sequoia ultrasound equipment
Knowledge of Trophon probe cleaning protocols
Understanding of doppler studies and various ultrasound modalities
Ability to adapt to different imaging environments and patient populations
