Location: Prescott Valley, Arizona

Start Date: 06-29-2026

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to a diverse mix of medical, surgical, and telemetry patients
Interpret telemetry strips and respond promptly to cardiac changes
Collaborate with the care team to support patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries and managing chronic conditions
Precept and mentor nursing students, helping shape the next generation of caregivers
Float to Multi-Care and Pediatric units when needed, expanding your clinical versatility
Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care while building meaningful connections with patients and families

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of MedSurg experience, telemetry experience preferred
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam within two attempts
Willingness to care for both MST and PCU level patients

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry interpretation and cardiac rhythm recognition
MedSurg and progressive care nursing fundamentals
Patient education and family communication
Precepting and mentoring skills
Flexibility to float across multiple units
