Rad Tech
Location: Bakersfield, California
Start Date: 06-22-2026
End Date: 09-21-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend and rotating call with 30-minute response time
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging studies including brain, MRCP, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities
- Operate GE and Toshiba equipment to deliver high-quality patient care
- Collaborate with in-house radiologists to ensure accurate imaging results
- Float to Mercy Southwest location when needed to support team coverage
- Maintain accurate documentation using Radnet and Merge Unity systems
Qualifications
- ARRT certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of radiology experience
- Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays
- Willingness to participate in rotating call schedule
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient with GE and Toshiba imaging equipment
- Experience with Radnet and Merge Unity PACS systems
- Strong attention to detail for high-volume imaging (100+ studies daily)
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
