Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with 1 night per week on call and every 5th or 6th weekend on call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert circulating support across all surgical service lines including neurosurgery, orthopedics, ENT, GYN, and robotics
Collaborate with surgeons and OR team members to ensure seamless procedures from pre-op through PACU
Respond to trauma cases in the ER when needed and support pre/post-operative patient care
Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and fingernail policy for optimal patient outcomes
Share knowledge and mentor colleagues while adapting to varied daily surgical schedules

Qualifications

Active RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications required
Strong experience in multiple surgical specialties including neurosurgery and robotics
Ability to pass open-book skills exam with 90% or higher during orientation
Valid driver's license to confirm 50-mile radius compliance
Willingness to work call rotation including one night per week and rotating weekends

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records
Comfort working across all service lines without specialized teams
Experience with DaVinci robotics and trauma cases
Strong teamwork and communication abilities
Flexibility to float to pre/post-op, PACU, or ER trauma as needed
