Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver hands-on physical therapy across both inpatient and outpatient settings
Treat a diverse caseload including ortho injuries, neuro conditions, wound care, and general debility
Collaborate daily with PTAs, techs, and nursing staff to coordinate seamless patient care
Precept students or new staff members when the unit requests support
Document treatment sessions and contribute to individualized care plans
Rotate holiday coverage with the rest of the therapy team

Qualifications

Active Texas PT license and national PT license required
Current BLS certification
IP/OP experience strongly preferred
Wound care experience is a plus but not mandatory
Open to both new graduates and seasoned clinicians

Knowledge & Skills

Comfort treating fractures, sports injuries, and post-amputation patients
Ability to manage wound care and utilize Vacs when needed
Strong communication skills to work effectively with a supportive interdisciplinary team
Flexibility to cover both acute rehab and outpatient populations throughout the day
