Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, rotating schedule with weekend requirements based on unit needs

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to patient needs
Administer medications including limited titratable drips like Heparin and Cardizem
Collaborate with the care team to support patients through recovery and discharge planning
Float as needed to support other units and ensure seamless patient care
Educate patients and families about their conditions and care plans

Qualifications

Active WA or Compact RN license
BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of acute care clinical experience
Comfortable reading telemetry strips and managing cardiac drips

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Experience with common medical-surgical conditions like CHF, COPD, and post-op care
Ability to work collaboratively with CNAs and the interdisciplinary team
Flexibility to float and adapt to changing unit needs
