Pharmacy Technician – UHC Staffing

Pharmacy Technician

Location: Westminster, Colorado

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Variable shifts - Weekdays 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, and 1:00 PM - 11:30 PM. Every other weekend 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM or 10:00 AM - 8:30 PM. No nights or double backs required.

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform sterile compounding to ensure safe medication preparation
Restock Pyxis machines across nursing units and procedural areas
Utilize Epic system for accurate medication management
Maintain code trays and emergency kits for critical situations
Answer phones and handle medication messages with care
Support the inpatient pharmacy team in delivering excellent patient care

Qualifications

Active Colorado Pharmacy Technician License required
PTCB Certification required
Sterile compounding experience required
Epic experience required
Pyxis experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Sterile compounding techniques
Epic electronic health record system
Pyxis medication dispensing system
Inpatient pharmacy operations
Attention to detail and accuracy
