Location: Centennial, Colorado

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients across medical-surgical and telemetry units
Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
Administer medications including heparin drips while maintaining strict safety protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Float across specialties including cardiac, neuro, oncology, rehab, renal, bariatrics, ortho, trauma, and ED observation
Support patients through post-surgical recovery and various medical diagnoses with empathy and expertise

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent MS-Tele experience
Neuro experience preferred
Ability to float within a 60-mile zone and adapt to various patient acuities

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation skills
Experience with heparin drip titration
Comfortable floating between MS-Tele, PCU/Stepdown, and low-acuity ICU holds
Excellent communication and adaptability in dynamic float pool environments
Proficient with vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and other respiratory equipment
