Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 7:00 PM, with approximately 120 hours of call per contract in rotation with staff

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional perioperative care to patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures
Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team in a fast-paced 16-suite operating room
Support trauma and neuro cases with confidence and clinical expertise
Serve as a reliable resource when charge nurse duties arise
Maintain accurate documentation using the Epic EMR system
Respond to call within 30 minutes to ensure continuous patient care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
BLS certification required
Minimum one year of OR nursing experience with trauma and neuro exposure
Charge nurse experience preferred but not required
Epic EMR experience highly valued

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of general, ENT, neuro, spine, ortho, and robotic procedures
Ability to remain calm and focused during high-acuity trauma cases
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Comfortable floating within Zone 1 facilities when needed
Quick decision-making and critical thinking in the OR environment
