Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to neuro-telemetry patients including those recovering from strokes, brain injuries, and spinal surgeries
Monitor and interpret EKGs while safely titrating critical drips such as Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Insulin
Collaborate with a dedicated interdisciplinary team to deliver seamless bedside hand-offs and ensure continuity of care
Float to other telemetry units as needed, bringing your expertise wherever it is most valuable
Maintain strict sterile technique during procedures and confidently manage trached patients and complex neuro cases

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care nursing experience
Level 1 trauma experience strongly preferred
Neuro experience highly valued

Knowledge & Skills

Strong EKG interpretation and dysrhythmia recognition
Confident with titrating cardiac and insulin drips
Cerner EMR experience a plus
Ability to pass a pre-acceptance dysrhythmia exam (two attempts allowed)
Comfortable with sterile technique for Foley and central-line procedures
