Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM start with variable shift lengths, plus call coverage

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $98 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist physicians during surgical procedures as directed
Provide first assistant support across ortho, robotics, neuro, and GYN specialties
Float between campuses as needed to support surgical teams
Respond to call within 30 minutes when scheduled
Collaborate with OR techs and nursing staff to ensure smooth case flow

Qualifications

Active RN license with RNFA certification
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Experience in ortho, robotics, neuro, and GYN procedures
Robotics experience is a must-have skill
Ability to scrub and assist in the operating room

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of ortho totals, scopes, and robotic procedures
Familiarity with neuro spine, brain tumors, and cranial cases
Understanding of GYN oncology and robotic hysterectomies
Experience with urology, vascular, and general surgery cases
Cerner EMR proficiency
