Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
• Support a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients
• Document patient care accurately and communicate clearly during handoffs
• Assist with transfers, mobility, and basic restorative techniques
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to support care plans

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification required
• Valid state certification or licensure as applicable
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) preferred or obtained upon hire
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background and health screening
• Comfortable working night shifts and flexible per-diem schedules
• Strong communication, empathy, and teamwork skills

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completed and current CNA training program / certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient hygiene, feeding, and mobility assistance
• Comfortable taking and documenting vital signs accurately
• Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
• Basic charting and electronic documentation skills
• Good situational awareness and the ability to escalate concerns promptly
• Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time during busy shifts
