Shift Type: Friday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Day shift, 12-hour per diem)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor telemetry and cardiac rhythms closely to catch changes early
Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on each shift
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the chart
Educate patients and families about condition, treatment, and follow-up
Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate as needed

Qualifications

Active RN license in California (required)
Telemetry experience preferred; comfortable interpreting cardiac rhythms
BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
Comfortable working per diem shifts and adapting quickly to new units
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Completion of basic nursing orientation and any facility-required competencies

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm recognition
Patient assessment, vital signs, and medication administration
Electronic health record (EHR) documentation
Prioritization in a fast-paced acute care setting
IV therapy knowledge and basic life support skills
Patient education and family communication
