Location: Carmichael, California

Start Date: 07-07-2026

End Date: 10-06-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (weekend requirement every other; at least one full weekend per month)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $82 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform utilization review and discharge planning for a diverse patient population
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and timely transitions of care
Complete initial assessments and Interqual reviews daily (15-20 patients/consults)
Manage complex cases including uninsured and homeless patients
Document in Cerner and coordinate with payers

Qualifications

Active California RN license
Prior recent Dignity Health experience (required)
BLS certification
Experience with Interqual and Cerner
Case Management or Utilization Review experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
Excellent communication and reprioritization abilities
Knowledge of all payer types and discharge planning processes
