Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, flexible scheduling available

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate postpartum care to high-risk mothers and couplets
Monitor vital signs using Welch Allyn machines and CPN monitors
Support breastfeeding and manage postpartum hemorrhage
Assist with circumcisions and hypertension assessments
Deliver POC glucose monitoring and nursery support

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years acute care hospital postpartum experience
Active BLS and NRP certifications required
High-risk postpartum or Level 2 Nursery experience preferred

Education

RN licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

Postpartum hospital expertise
Breastfeeding support techniques
Postpartum hemorrhage management
Hypertension assessment and care
Team collaboration in fast-paced units
