Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver hands-on patient care under therapist direction, making real differences in recovery journeys
Document treatment notes and progress updates with precision to track every milestone
Collaborate with healthcare teams to communicate patient advancements and care plans
Train nursing staff and families on maintenance programs for seamless transitions
Maintain a spotless treatment area and report equipment needs to keep everything running smoothly
Participate in conferences and in-services to elevate rehabilitation standards

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in California, kept in good standing
At least 1 year of experience in patient care and rehabilitation
Proficiency in EMR systems like Casamba and Point Click Care
Commitment to ongoing continuing education per state requirements

Education

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in patient care, treatment documentation, and rehabilitation techniques
Strong communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Computer savvy for accurate data entry and record-keeping
