Location: Asheville, North Carolina

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Friday-Monday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (9-10 hour days)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate patients in the acute care setting to pinpoint their rehab needs
Develop personalized care plans that drive real recovery
Apply specialized procedures and techniques to improve function and condition
Supervise and coordinate therapeutic care while communicating key updates to patients, families, and staff

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy
Current North Carolina license to practice Physical Therapy
BLS certification
At least 2 years of experience, with acute care preferred

Education

Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy

Knowledge & Skills

Acute care experience especially in orthopedics, neurology, and cardiopulmonary
Proficiency with a wide variety of acute care procedures
Comfort using patient lifting equipment like SARA+, Stedy, and Maximove
