Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to mothers and newborns in a 26-bed unit
- Educate parents on newborn safety, nurturing, and health
- Assist with circumcisions and typical Mother/Baby procedures
- Collaborate with a dedicated team including charge RNs and lactation consultants
- Deliver exceptional patient care with a can-do attitude
Qualifications
- Active RN license
- BLS and NRP certifications
- Minimum 2 years of current Mother/Baby acute care hospital experience
Education
- RN degree from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Mother/Baby acute care expertise
- Lactation experience preferred
- Transitions experience a plus
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR
