Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Three 12-hour shifts per week, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, weekends if possible, on-call required (averaging 5-6 weekday shifts and 1 weekend shift every 8 weeks)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Champion patient safety as a circulator and advocate in the OR
Collaborate seamlessly with surgical teams on ortho, total joints, neuro, and robotic procedures
Master the sterile field while supporting scrub roles and high-stakes surgeries
Adapt to dynamic cases including multi-level spine fusions and Xi robotic surgeries
Contribute to a positive team vibe in an 11-OR suite buzzing with innovation

Qualifications

Active Alaska RN license (required for submission)
Minimum 2 years of OR experience, especially in ortho, total joints, neuro, and robotics
BLS and ACLS certifications
Positive team player with a can-do attitude
Comfortable with on-call requirements and weekend shifts

Education

RN licensure in Alaska

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise as patient advocate and circulator
Proficiency in sterile field management
Experience with total joints, spine fusions, and robotic cases (GYN, colorectal, general)
Familiarity with Epic EMR and diverse OR equipment
CNOR certification preferred for top candidates
