Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts a pay period, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor telemetry rhythms and assess med surg patients with sharp critical thinking
Deliver compassionate care including IV fluids, antibiotics, and tube feeds
Collaborate seamlessly with charge RNs, rapid response teams, and providers during acuity changes
Manage time effectively to maintain optimal patient ratios and unit flow
Communicate clearly to ensure top-notch team coordination and patient safety

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Carolina
BLS certification required, ACLS preferred
2+ years of experience
Telemetry rhythm interpretation skills

Education

RN degree from an accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical thinking and time management
Ability to assess med surg patients and recognize acuity changes
Excellent communication as a true team player
