Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Every other weekend (Sat-Sun), 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $39 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Master patient assessments to deliver spot-on respiratory care
Execute physician-ordered treatments with precision and confidence
Perform arterial punctures and oxygen therapy to stabilize patients swiftly
Administer aerosol therapy and non-invasive ventilation saving lives daily
Collaborate with a dynamic team of 48 staff in a high-energy unit

Qualifications

1+ year of respiratory therapy experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required
NRP and PALS certifications preferred for critical care edge

Education

Completion of accredited Respiratory Therapy program
Current state licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in patient assessment and treatment procedures
Proficiency with V60 BiPAP, Vapotherm, Avea and Hamilton ventilators
Skilled in EPOC ABG analyzers and MEDITECH EMR
Critical care experience a huge plus
