Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct swallow evaluations for post-extubation, stroke, pneumonia, and other critical cases
Perform comprehensive speech and language evaluations and deliver targeted treatments
Provide expert dysphagia treatments to improve patient outcomes
Execute MBS studies with full proficiency to support accurate diagnoses
Advocate fiercely for patients in a fast-paced acute care setting

Qualifications

Active Florida Speech Language Pathology License required, no provisionals
CCC-SLP certification
BLS from American Heart Association
At least 2 years of experience

Education

Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or equivalent, CCC-SLP

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in swallow evals, speech/language evals and treatments, dysphagia management
Fully experienced in MBS/fluoro procedures
Strong background with adult and geriatric populations in acute care
Independent clinician comfortable with full caseload of 10-12 patients
