Roles & Responsibilities
- Administer precise radiation treatments to cancer patients following physician prescriptions
- Collaborate closely with medical teams to execute individualized treatment plans
- Ensure utmost patient safety and care standards during external beam therapy and brachytherapy
- Operate advanced linear accelerators, CT simulators, and other high-tech equipment
- Provide compassionate support to ambulatory and inpatient patients across all ages
Qualifications
- Current Hawaii State license as Radiation Therapist
- Current CPR certification at Healthcare Professional level
- Minimum 1 year of experience preferred
Education
- Radiation Therapist licensure requirements met
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in radiation therapy techniques including tomotherapy and stereotactic radiosurgery
- Proficiency with linear accelerators, simulators, and brachytherapy units
- Strong patient monitoring and safety protocols knowledge
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced oncology environment
