Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate individual, group, and family psychotherapy to support client recovery
- Provide emergency services and crisis intervention with confidence and care
- Offer consumer support services and community education to strengthen mental health awareness
- Conduct consultation services to empower colleagues and clients alike
- Handle information and referral with expertise to connect people to vital resources
Qualifications
- Washington State licensure as an LMHC, LMFT, LICSW or MHP
- At least two years' experience treating consumers in mental health programs
- Qualify per WAC 246-341-0515 for specialties like children, elderly, developmental disabilities, minorities, hearing impaired, or emergency services
Education
- Masters Degree in behavioral science, nursing sciences, social work, or related field from an accredited college or university
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong grasp of mental health therapeutic techniques and direct client services
- Knowledge of community issues impacting mental health programs
- Good judgment and ability to thrive with minimal supervision
