Shift Type: Two day shifts per week (no call), willing to adjust schedule based on sonographer's needs

Bill Rate: $41.66-$69.63/hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic examinations using ultrasound equipment to capture clear images of patients' hearts
Ensure exceptional patient care and comfort during every procedure
Collaborate closely with cardiologists and healthcare team for accurate imaging and top-notch patient outcomes
Apply your anatomy and physiology knowledge to boost diagnostic precision
Communicate effectively with staff and patients to explain procedures and foster a supportive environment

Qualifications

ARDMS Registered or registry eligible in Adult Echo
Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound program
Minimum 1 year experience performing echocardiography exams preferred
1 year experience in a rural hospital setting preferred
Experience with abdomen, OB/GYN, breast, vascular preferred

Education

Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in cardiac sonography and echocardiography
Proficient use of ultrasound equipment
Strong anatomy and physiology knowledge
Excellent communication and patient care skills
