Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 7 nights on/7 nights off, Thursday-Wednesday, 8:00 PM - 7:30 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver top-notch pharmaceutical care by monitoring and evaluating medication use for optimal patient outcomes
Provide expert drug information to patients, families, and healthcare teams
Review, process, and dispense medication orders with precision and speed
Manage patient therapy to ensure safety and effectiveness across all ages
Coordinate pharmacy technicians to keep operations smooth and patient-focused
Respond swiftly to medical emergencies with critical medication support

Qualifications

Hold a valid active Ohio Pharmacy License in good standing
Bachelor of Science or PharmD from an accredited College of Pharmacy
At least 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience preferred
Strong communication skills for collaborating with teams, physicians, and patients

Education

Bachelor of Science or PharmD degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy

Knowledge & Skills

Pharmaceutical care and medication therapy management
Drug information provision and patient counseling
Excellent human relations and teamwork abilities
Analytical problem-solving and time management
Familiarity with hospital pharmacy policies and quality standards
