Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver holistic medical social services to patients and families across all ages
Collaborate with healthcare teams to address physical, social, emotional, and environmental challenges
Support discharge planning and optimum health outcomes
Perform supervisory tasks and work independently when needed
Present information effectively to clients, agencies, and communities

Qualifications

MSW from an accredited school of Social Work
State of Alaska LMSW license at Master's level
Valid Alaska State driver's license
One year experience in hospital or health-care setting

Knowledge & Skills

Basic computer proficiency
Ability to read, comprehend, and write at college level
Strong math skills for rates, ratios, and graphs
Experience in cross-cultural settings preferred
Bilingual in English and Yup'ik a plus
