Roles & Responsibilities

• Champion patient advocacy by verifying identities, sites, and consents while ensuring safety throughout surgery
• Masterfully prepare OR suites, maintain sterile environments, and coordinate seamless teamwork
• Monitor vital signs and physiological responses, collaborating closely with anesthesia and surgeons
• Document every detail accurately in electronic records to uphold the highest standards
• Manage supplies and equipment efficiently in a resource-savvy critical access hospital
• Respond swiftly to emergencies and support smooth postoperative transitions
• Collaborate with a tight-knit multidisciplinary team, adapting to perioperative needs

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted RN license (compact accepted)
• BLS required, ACLS required (or within 6 months), PALS preferred
• Minimum 3 years of Operating Room experience as Circulator
• CNOR certification preferred for those extra stars

• Expertise in aseptic technique, perioperative nursing, and surgical counts
• Strong patient advocacy, electronic medical records proficiency, and team coordination
• Sharp critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving in high-stress environments
• Knowledge of general surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN, endoscopy, and minor trauma
