Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 36 guaranteed hours per week including rotating weekends

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver critical care to MICU patients, managing ventilators and advanced equipment like Arctic Sun and NXStage
Perform life-saving procedures including central line placements, intubations, cardioversions and dialysis caths
Monitor and respond to high-acuity needs with skill and compassion
Collaborate with dynamic team for optimal patient outcomes
Document meticulously in Meditech while adapting to floating needs

Qualifications

Active RN Texas license (no temp licenses accepted)
2+ years MICU or MSICU experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required
CCRN certification preferred for top candidates

Education

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise with ICU equipment including ventilators, NXStage, Arctic Sun and GE Cardiac Output monitors
Proficiency in Meditech documentation system
Strong skills in high-acuity critical care procedures
Adaptability to assignments based on acuity and team needs
