Shift Type: Full-time, 3x12 hour night shifts per week 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate labor and delivery care including mother recovery and newborn transition
Monitor fetal heart rates and manage high-risk situations like shoulder dystocia and postpartum hemorrhage
Perform newborn assessments and support couplet care with 1:3 ratios
Assist in C-sections, inductions with Pitocin and Cervidil, and OB emergencies
Round daily on patients to ensure exceptional safety and experience
Collaborate with a tight-knit team of veteran RNs averaging 30 years experience

Qualifications

RN license in good standing
2+ years of labor and delivery experience
BLS, NRP and Fetal Monitoring training required
Experience with OB emergencies preferred

Education

RN degree from accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in fetal monitoring and inductions
Skilled in shoulder dystocia, PP hemorrhage and newborn transition
Comfortable with C-sections, vacuum/forceps deliveries and NICU couplet care
Proficient in Meditech documentation and CPN central monitoring
