Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with rotating weekend call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $82 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist Interventional Radiologists with imaging-guided invasive procedures
Coordinate the IR physician schedule and manage patient flow
Collaborate with floor nurses and imaging technicians for seamless patient care
Administer sedation, monitor patients during procedures, and place PIV lines
Support a variety of procedures including paras, thoras, biopsies, and drainage

Qualifications

Current and valid RN license in California
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Experience in Interventional Radiology preferred
Proficiency with Cerner EMR, MRI Safe Pumps, and EKG monitors

Knowledge & Skills

Interventional Radiology procedures and patient monitoring
Sedation administration and monitoring
PIV placement and pacer assistance
Strong communication and coordination skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
