Location: Centennial, CO

Start Date: 07-13-2026

End Date: 10-12-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating weekends and holidays. Schedule released 4-6 weeks in advance.

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide critical care to patients in a dynamic ICU float pool setting across multiple facilities
Titrate and manage critical drips including pressors, sedation, and antiarrhythmics
Manage ventilators and respiratory equipment, troubleshooting as needed
Interpret telemetry strips and respond to changes in patient condition
Float to PCU/stepdown and med-surg units as required to support staffing needs
Collaborate with charge nurses and intensivists to deliver high-quality patient care

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of ICU experience (3+ years for first-time travelers)
Prior travel experience preferred
Must be comfortable titrating all critical drips
Epic experience required for first-time travelers
Ability to float within a 60-mile zone covering multiple hospitals

Knowledge & Skills

Critical care nursing expertise
Ventilator management and respiratory support
Telemetry interpretation without monitor techs
Strong assessment and rapid decision-making skills
Flexibility to adapt to different units and patient populations
