Sterile Processing Technician - Evening Shift

Location: Glenwood Springs, CO

Start Date: 07-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, with call rotation

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Clean, wrap, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment following infection control standards
Maintain inventory of sterile supplies for surgeries and department needs
Inspect and assemble instrument trays to ensure completeness and functionality
Operate sterilizers and document sterilization cycles accurately
Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure timely availability of sterile supplies

Qualifications

High School graduate or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of sterile processing experience
Certified as CSPDT or CRCST required
Willingness to take rotating weekend and holiday call

Education

High School graduate or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of sterile processing techniques and infection control practices
Familiarity with medical terminology and surgical instruments
Proficiency in operating sterilization equipment
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
