Location: Canaan, Connecticut

End Date: 10-31-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess patients' functional abilities and develop personalized treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve daily living and work skills
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment goals as needed
- Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and equipment
- Promote independence and enhance quality of life for every patient
Qualifications
- Current Occupational Therapy license in Connecticut (or compact eligible)
- At least one year of experience as an Occupational Therapist
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
- Willingness to travel and adapt to new environments
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in evaluating and treating a diverse patient population
- Knowledge of therapeutic exercises, modalities, and adaptive equipment
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
