Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients across a diverse patient population
• Monitor patient vitals, assess changes, and communicate effectively with the care team
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as prescribed
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records in EPIC
• Educate patients and families on discharge planning and health management
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia or compact state (required)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience (required)
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records (required)
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced hospital environment

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of medical-surgical nursing standards and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Proficient in EPIC and other healthcare technologies
• Compassionate patient-centered approach to care
